Every Journey Starts with Your Assessment

At Grassroots, the Assessment is the foundation of everything we do — and it’s what sets us apart. Before designing your program, we take the time to understand you — how you move, how you feel, and what’s happening inside your body.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all fitness test — it’s a personalized experience that allows us to create a program tailored to your specific needs, goals, and physiology.

Your Assessment Includes:

✅ A 90-minute experience (for private or partner training) — including a 60-minute in-person movement and strength assessment and a complimentary 30-minute InBody body composition analysis

✅ A separate 30-minute Zoom consultation — where we review your InBody results in detail and help you understand how to target the areas where you need to build muscle, not just where you want to

✅ A personalized training roadmap — outlining your next steps, whether that’s private training, Women’s Strength, or a hybrid plan

For youth assessments (ages 8–17), the session is 45 minutes and focuses on movement, posture, and coordination. The InBody scan is not included unless requested by a parent.

ADULT PRIVATE TRAINING

Private Training

At Grassroots Fitness Project (GRFP), we take a functional training approach designed to build strength, mobility, and resilience by training the body as an interconnected system — not isolated muscles.

Unlike traditional bodybuilding, which focuses on separate muscle groups, our training emphasizes real-world movement patterns that improve strength, flexibility, and coordination.

This science-backed method strengthens weaker areas through their full range of motion while restoring balance and mobility — creating a stronger, more capable body that moves well and feels powerful.

Whether you want to move better, feel stronger, or enhance performance, our expert coaches are here to guide you every step of the way.

PARTNER TRAINING

Partner & Semi-Private Training

Train with a friend or small group in a fun, motivating, and cost-effective way. These sessions follow the same functional training approach as our one-on-one programs—building strength, mobility, endurance, and power, together.

YOUTH PRIVATE TRAINING

Youth Training (Ages 8–17)

At Grassroots Fitness Project, we take a developmentally appropriate approach to help youth ages 8–17 build balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility for long-term success.

Our focus:

Strength Development – We introduce strength training at age 13 and up, building a solid foundation with bodyweight and resistance exercises

Energy System Training – Enhancing endurance, speed, and agility

Dynamic Flexibility – Improving mobility and movement efficiency to prevent injury

We begin strength training at age 13 and introduce static flexibility around age 12, when natural flexibility begins to decline. Once foundational movement patterns are mastered, we can tailor sport-specific programs to boost performance safely and effectively.

Our youth programs help kids and teens move better, feel stronger, and develop confidence that carries into every area of life.
