Personal Training SESSIONS can be Indoor/Outdoor, VIRTUAL, OR IN-HOME depending ON YOUR PREFERENCE.

PRIVATE Training IS available IN 30, 45, OR 60 minute sessions.

PRIVATE SESSION

AT GRFP, WE UTILIZE A TRAINING METHOD KNOWN AS “FUNCTIONAL TRAINING.” THE idea is TO WORK THE BODY AS AN INTERDEPENDENT WHOLE, as opposed to TRADITIONAL BODYBUILDING, WHICH SEEKs TO SEPARATE THE BODY INTO ITS PRINCIPAL PARTS–such as CHEST, BICEPS, OR QUADRICEPS. 

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING FOCUSES ON EXECUTING MOVEMENT PATTERNS THAT STRENGTHEN WEAKER MUSCLES ALONG THEIR LENGTH WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY STRETCHING TIGHTER MUSCLES. WE USE THIS REGIMEN WHEN WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES, TO BRING ABOUT MEASURABLE GAINS IN FLEXIBILITY, MOBILITY, STRENGTH, ENDURANCE, POWER AND OVERALL PERFORMANCE.

PARTNER / SMALL GROUP SESSION

WANT TO WORKOUT WITH A BUDDY OR A SMALL GROUP OF FRIENDS? CHECK OUT OUR SEMI-PRIVATE / PARTNER SESSION OPTIONS. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE THE PROGRAM TO FIT YOUR NEEDS. OPEN TO ADULTs AND YOUTH. SIMILAR TO OUR PRIVATE SESSIONS, WE WILL USE THE FUNCTIONAL TRAINING METHOD AND INCLUDE FUN AND CHALLENGING WORKOUTS THAT YOU CAN DO WITH A PARTNER OR IN A SMALL GROUP.

YOUTH PRIVATE SESSION

THE GRASSROOTS FITNESS APPROACH TO TRAINING CHILDREN IS BY CHALLENGING THE CHILD’S BALANCE, COORDINATION, STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY IN A MANNER THAT GUIDES them toward SUCCESS. FOCUS WILL BE PLACED ON STRENGTH, ENERGY SYSTEM TRAINING AND DYNAMIC FLEXIBILITY IN CONSIDERATION OF EACH CHILD’S DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE. STATIC FLEXIBILITY TRAINING IS INTRODUCED AROUND 12 YEARS OF AGE, AT WHICH POINT FLEXIBILITY WILL SLOWLY START TO DECLINE. PROGRAMS CAN BE TAILORED TO A SPECIFIC SPORT, BUT ONLY AFTER THE BASIC MOVEMENT PATTERNS HAVE BEEN LEARNED AND DEMONSTRATED PROPERLY.
