Functional Strength and Metabolic Conditioning (30 minutes)

HIIT Express is our signature Grassroots Fitness Project class, in a shorter 30-minute format. Full body, functional movements including a combination of lower body (squats, deadlifts, lunges, kettlebell swings), upper body (pushups, pressing, pull-ups, rows), and core movements. All performed in short, high-intensity intervals. Equipment used will vary every day, including a combination of dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, rower, jump rope, and plyometric boxes. Circuits are created using, but not limited to AMRAPs, EMOMs, and Tabata. This class is high-intensity and experience lifting weights is preferred, but not required.

We always recommend a personal assessment before taking any class. However, if that is not possible, we ask that all participants at least come physically healthy, as this is still a class and major modifications cannot be made.
