A Southern transplant and lifelong performer, Emily Battles brings her infectious energy and deep love of movement to the Grassroots Fitness Project community. With a background in dance, yoga, and Pilates, Battles blends functional training with expressive, body-aware movement to help clients build strength, resilience, and confidence.

After recovering from a dance-related injury herself, Battles experienced firsthand the frustration of starting over—and the joy of reclaiming physical strength. This journey sparked her dedication to guiding others through their own comebacks and breakthroughs, whether that means building a solid foundation, preventing injury, or reaching new goals.

Her certifications include NCSF, Zumba, BarreBod, and 30-60-90, and she brings a thoughtful, creative approach to every session. Battles believes training should be empowering, personalized, and—above all—fun.
