How do we differ from other studios?
At Grassroots all of our classes are taught by certified personal trainers
Most group classes are taught by"certified fitness instructors".
Get the personal Training education in a group setting.
Beginners will be watched carefully, while experienced Athletes will be given a challenging workout.


HIIT EXPRESS:

Signature GRFP

(in a 30 minute format)
Functional Strength and Metabolic Conditioning

Whole body movements using dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, jump ropes, and running.
Pull-ups, Push-ups, Squats, Lunges and Crawls.

Indoor Classes are kept to a class size of no more then 10 people. Warm-up will be more compact and rest times between exercises will be less. 

At Grassroots we feel it is important to educate our clients as to why they are doing what they are doing.

In the small group we are able to assess and modify. However, we ask that all participants come physically healthy.

*Class goes outside when weather permits.


PILATES FOR ATHLETES:

At Grassroots we offer pilates as we see it as the perfect foundation to enhance any other workout that you do.

In Pilates for Athletes you will discover how to access the deepest muscles of the body, improve flexibility and balance and learn how to incorporate it all into any other form of exercise that you have in your routine. Whether its cycling, HIIT, bootcamp or Yoga, Pilates deepens the mind/body awareness allowing you to perform other modalities safely and correctly.

Traditionally pilates is set in a restorative atmosphere however, in Pilates for Athletes you will be training in an open studio, amongst fellow athletes in a class that is less about feeling zen and more about challenging yourself and building deep strength.

Although class starts off easy, the intensity will gradually increase leaving you feeling taller, stronger, aligned and accomplished.


SUPERSET:

A dynamic and inviting weight lifting class.
However, we do not recommend if you are just getting back into exercising.

Get the personal Training education in a group setting.
Beginners will be watched carefully, while experienced Athletes will be given a challenging workout.

Each class consists of a trainer-lead group warm up, skill or strength work, the workout (WOD), and cool down/mobility. Classes last one hour and are offered 7 days a week.
Although there are high intensity intervals built in (metabolic work) this is NOT a HIIT class.

(1 Hour Format)

Whole body movements using dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, jump ropes, and running.
Pull-ups, Push-ups, Squats, Lunges and Crawls.

Indoor Classes are kept to a class size of no more then 10 people. Unlike other studios that only provide 50 minutes, we offer the whole hour so that we can include a proper warm-up. 

At Grassroots we feel it is important to educate our clients as to why they are doing what they are doing. If you like to get lost in the crowd, this is not the class for you.

In the small group we are able to assess and modify. However, we ask that all participants come physically healthy, as this is still a class and major modifications can not be made.

LADIES STRENGTH 101:


Similar structure to our current superset classes, but for women ONLY!

Learn the deadlift, the clean, the snatch, the kipping pull-up and more in a female only environment.
This class is an opportunity for females to support one another on moves that can sometimes be associated as a "man's exercise".
Putting these technical moves into a program, performing them correctly and safely, while lifting heavy weights is what this class is all about.
Nothing burns calories like muscle.
